LOS ANGELES

CASTING NOTICE for LOS ANGELES FEMALE SINGERS:

Sunset Live Entertainment provides live music and entertainment for performing arts centers, theatres, casinos, concerts, cruise lines, fairs, festivals, and other public, private and corporate events in Southern California and throughout the United States.

Sunset Singers is currently casting for the following:

• Females:

• Vocalists for the holiday group, The Sugarplums! The Sugarplums were the Winners of the Christmas Caroler Challenge on The CW and perform for public, private and corporate events.

• The Sugarplums begin rehearsing in September in Burbank. Performances are from early November through Christmas. Potential travel within the US. Singers should have a flexible schedule and be interested in performing in CA and the US. Competitive professional pay.  

Specifically seeking singers with great vocal range and personality to spare, who are fantastic with harmonies and move very well. Looking for dynamic performers with throwback appeal, able to command a stage. All ethnicities encouraged to submit. 

How to submit:

For initial consideration, we are requesting your headshot, resume & a link to a self-taped audition and/or performance video (not an attachment).

• If self-taping your audition, please record one or two songs (each with a verse and chorus) with your choice of music from the 1940s-1960s or Christmas music.

• If submitting a previously-recorded performance video link, please make sure the clip(s) are relevant to that style and era of music.

Please email your headshot, resume & any self-tape and/or performance video links (not attachments) to sunsetsubmissions@gmail.com no later than September 8th. Please list “LA Sugarplums” in the email subject line. Those who have auditioned in the past are welcome to submit again.

Callbacks will be scheduled in person on September 16th, with rehearsals beginning the follow week. We will contact you directly with material to prepare for callbacks and provide additional information.

NEW YORK

CASTING NOTICE for NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES TALENT:

Alongside our signature productions, we regularly book standout independent artists, ensembles and bands for events, weddings, immersive activations, and theatrical performances in Los Angeles and New York. Sunset Live Entertainment provides live music and entertainment for performing arts centers, theatres, casinos, concerts, cruise lines, fairs, festivals, and other public, private and corporate events in NYC, LA, and throughout the United States.

Sunset Live Entertainment is currently seeking the following:

• Bands & Music Ensembles
  Seeking self-contained duos, trios, and full bands with professional gear, strong live performance experience, and polished promotional video footage.

• Dancers
  Jazz, swing, ballroom, Latin, tap, and theatrical. Open to soloists, duos, and choreographed groups. Must be able to self-choreograph when needed.

• Dancers & Dance Ensembles
  Jazz, swing, ballroom, Latin, tap, and theatrical styles. Open to soloists, duos, and choreographed groups. Must be strong performers with stage presence and the ability to self-choreograph or adapt to custom creative requests.

• Established Choirs & Vocal Groups
  Seeking existing pop choirs, gospel ensembles, and harmony groups with polished vocals, strong blend, and live performance experience.

• Specialty Acts
  Aerialists, fire performers, stilts, contortionists, and circus-style entertainers for stage or ambient entertainment. All acts must be fully self-contained, providing their own rigging, equipment, props, and costuming (unless a specific costume or theme is requested). Performers must carry valid liability insurance.

• Impersonators & Tribute Artists
  High-level lookalike and soundalike performers for icons across eras. Must bring both visual likeness and strong performance ability.

• Immersive & Character Talent
  Themed hosts, vintage characters, living statues, roving entertainers, and performers who can create atmosphere and engage with guests.

• Models & Brand Ambassadors
  Polished, guest-facing talent for red carpets, luxury events, themed activations, and photo opportunities.

Important: Please do not send files or attachments for videos. All performance footage must be shared as streaming links only (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. We’ll reach out directly if your materials match a current or upcoming opportunity.
